Will the wires handle a 36" down rod?

The cord in the ceiling fan does not come with that long extension cord, if you want to install a longer down pole, you must purchase the same type of cord extension cord. For the brand 's wires are for 3.9"/7.9 down rod.

Love the unit but the remote of the black fan beeps. Any way to turn it off??

No, it is designed to make it easier for buyers to know if they have operated the remote control.

Can you permanently set the light temperature to warm or it goes back to white every time you turn the ceiling fan on?

Powering up for 8 seconds and then powering down and powering up again will memorize the state before powering down.
